Tidal Resilience Foundation was born from lived experience and a deep belief: that even in the wake of loss, young people can find more than survival. They can find connection, courage, and a sense of belonging.

Resilience Ride at Anastasia State Park
Saturday, August 15
Registration Now Open
Tidal Resilience Foundation is planning a Resilience Ride at Anastasia State Park for grieving children and families.
This small-group paddle experience will offer time on the water for gentle movement, connection, reflection, and the kind of shared encouragement that can help families feel less alone. Space is expected to be limited to 15 participants.

What Guides Us
Our work is shaped by five guiding pillars: grief support, ocean-based resilience, practical tools, community connection, and empowerment after loss.
Grief Support
Safe spaces where children’s emotions are honored without pressure or judgment.
Ocean-Based Resilience
Waves rise and fall. Tides shift. Storms pass. The ocean gives children a language for resilience.
Connection & Community
Healing grows when care surrounds a grieving child.
Tools Children Can Hold Onto
Kits, resources, activities, and prompts give children support they can return to when big emotions rise.
Empowerment After Loss
Children are not asked to move past grief. They are supported as they move with it.

Spring Break Resilience Week & Our First Oyster Roast
A Celebration of Community, Courage, and Connection

Tidal Resilience Foundation’s first Spring Break Resilience Week brought families together at Genung’s Fish Camp for ocean-centered learning, kayaking, art, reflection, and connection.
The week created space for children to try something new, caregivers to exhale, and families navigating grief to feel supported, connected, and seen.
The celebration continued with our first Spring Oyster Roast fundraiser, where the community gathered by the water and raised $2,000 to support future Tidal Resilience programming.
Waves of Hope 5K 2026
A Powerful Morning of Community and Resilience

Tidal Resilience Foundation’s first Waves of Hope 5K brought runners, walkers, families, volunteers, and supporters together on the shoreline for a morning of movement, remembrance, and resilience.
The event created space for people to honor loved ones, move with purpose, and feel part of something hopeful and community-centered.
The Remembrance and Resilience Station offered a quiet place to pause, write a name, honor a memory, and reflect by the ocean.
